SERVICE LEARNING
For one of my modules in Year 2, I was assigned to create a video to educate the elderly about cyber security. Since the elderly do not use technologies as much as the younger generation, they are prone to scams online. Here is the video my team mates and I have created for this assignment. This was the first time creating an animation video and I must say, it was tedious and require tons of patience. Making sure that each image pops up at the accurate milliseconds, matching the narration to each scene took plenty of time. I had to ensure that the narration was clear, in good pace and the complex terms were well explained.
But all in all, it was a really fun experience as I was able to let my creative mind flow. I feel happy to be able to share my knowledge and give back to the community. The elderly has helped to build Singapore to what it is today. It is my duty to repay their efforts and take care of them now.
